Do I need an account to download?
Yes. You sign in to download, and it's free.
Are the mods safe?
Staff look at uploads before they're listed. That lowers the risk and doesn't remove it: back up your game, and read a mod's page and readme before you install it.
Can I use mods in GTA Online?
No. Single-player mods are for story mode only, and taking them online can get your account banned. For multiplayer, use FiveM servers.
Will a mod work with my game?
Check the mod's page for the game and version it was made for. GTA V Legacy and Enhanced are different installs, and a FiveM resource is not a single-player mod. Getting started with mods explains the difference.
How do I install what I downloaded?
It depends on what it is. The Installing guides cover each kind, from OIV packages to FiveM resources.
A mod doesn't work. What now?
- Read its description and readme again for a step or a requirement you missed.
- Try the Troubleshooting guides.
- Tell the creator what happened, with your game version and what you tried.
A mod breaks the rules or isn't what it says. Who do I tell?
Report it from the mod's page, and staff will look at it.
