Joining a FivePD server

Install FiveM, find a server that runs FivePD and go on duty.

You play FivePD by joining a FiveM server that runs it. Nothing goes into your own game folder.

Join a server

  1. Install the FiveM client from fivem.net and start it. It finds your copy of GTA V.
  2. In FiveM's server list, search for "FivePD", or use an address a server's community gave you.
  3. Connect. The first time, FiveM downloads the server's vehicles and scripts, which can take a few minutes.

Go on duty

Once you're in, open FivePD's duty menu, pick a department and go on duty. Callouts then start coming in, and you can accept the ones you want.

Your single-player mods stay out of it

FiveM keeps its own files and does not read your mods folder, so single-player mods and LSPDFR don't affect it. Client-side changes such as graphics mods are up to each server to allow.
