FivePD is GTAPoliceMods' own police gamemode for FiveM. It puts you on duty on a multiplayer server: you take callouts, run traffic stops, join pursuits and patrol with other players.
What you need to play
- A legitimate copy of GTA V on PC.
- The FiveM client, which is free.
- A server that runs FivePD. You don't install FivePD yourself to play; the server has it.
See Joining a FivePD server for the steps.
FivePD and LSPDFR
Both let you play as police, and they don't mix.
| FivePD | LSPDFR | |
|---|---|---|
| Where it runs | On a FiveM server, with other players | In single-player GTA V |
| Who installs it | Whoever runs the server | You, in your own game folder |
| Add-ons | Callouts and plugins made for FivePD | Plugins and callouts made for LSPDFR |
A callout pack written for LSPDFR does not work in FivePD, and the other way round. Check which one a download is for before you install it.
Running your own server
If you want FivePD on a server you run, start with Installing FivePD on your server.
