Installing an LSPDFR plugin or callout pack
Put an LSPDFR plugin or callout pack in the right folder, install what it depends on, and set it up through its ini file.

LSPDFR turns GTA V's single-player into a police game. Plugins and callout packs add to it: new calls, backup, traffic stops, a computer. They load through RAGE Plugin Hook, not ScriptHookV.
What you need first
- LSPDFR, installed and working with no plugins. Its download includes RAGE Plugin Hook.
- The game started through
RAGEPluginHook.exe, not the normal launcher shortcut.
Go on duty once in plain LSPDFR before you add anything. If something breaks later, you know the base worked.

Most downloads are laid out to match. If the archive holds a plugins folder, or a folder named after the game, drag its contents into your game folder and let Windows merge the folders.
Install a plugin
- Close the game.
- Read the readme for what the plugin depends on, and install those first.
- Extract the download.
- Copy the files to the places the readme names. With no other instruction, the
.dllgoes inplugins\LSPDFR\. - Start
RAGEPluginHook.exe. - Go on duty. LSPDFR loads its plugins when you go on duty, not when the game starts.
Dependencies
Many plugins need a shared library, and some need another plugin. Common ones are RAGENativeUI and a callout or ped interaction framework. The readme lists them with the version needed.
A plugin whose dependency is missing or too old fails when you go on duty, often with a message naming the missing file. Install the newest version of the dependency. One copy serves every plugin that uses it.
Settings and keys
Most plugins ship an .ini file. Open it in Notepad to change keys and options:
[Keys]
OpenMenu = F7
Modifier = LControlKey
Two plugins set to the same key will both answer it. Change one of them. Save the file and go on duty again to load the change.
Check that it loaded
Go on duty and watch for the plugin's notification above the minimap. For a callout pack, wait for a call or force one from the RAGE Plugin Hook console, which opens with F4 by default.
If nothing happens, open RagePluginHook.log in the game folder and search for the plugin's name. See A script does nothing.
After a game update, RAGE Plugin Hook and LSPDFR both need to catch up before plugins work again. See The game crashes after a Rockstar update.
